A: Yes, if you own your own domain name for a site then you can get the full control into different platforms. At the mercy of the platforms online, if the blog’s companies go out of business, you can still own your own address and move your blog into different platforms. Even though you may need to pay for 10 dollars a month of registering your first and last name as a domain name, please do it and be thankful to get .ca or .com.

How did you get your name Ninja? Is it because you like karate when you were little?
A: He came up with the name with Ninja while he was taking shower. It is funny enough that he did not touch on any kinds of martial art before but he just had a thought of that specific domain name. He came up with the idea of using a unique name for domain name. He approached the person who owns the domain name and he bought $1,000 to own the domain name for his page and branding.

Things I’ve learned after the seminar:

The importance and significance of domain name. It is very important to make a right choice of picking a right domain name for a company or personal branding. In many circumstances, domain names could be repetitive with others. You may need to pay up till $10,000 to get your personal and special domain name. I didn’t know how domain name actually works online but now I know that it is like an insurance you purchase it for yourself online. The chance of getting .ca or .com is very rare and we should treasure it if we can still register for it. We need to look out for ourselves because we need to own our own career strategies. There is no permanent job and be prepared to move around in career path. There are so many opportunities out here waiting for you!
