The company has a support-line for people who need help in life or other issues. There are many programs and it is an organization that help people within the community. It offers people confidential access during the process. This company helps people in finding careers, networking and learning. 100 years ago, people created this company in UK and decided to invent the Canada locations later on. He is responsible for marketing, project, event, fundraising event, and financial resources.

He is currently working on social media. For his job role, he focuses on social media like Facebook and Instagram and uses Hootsuite and other platforms to create brand awareness. Conversion and engagement are two things he focuses on at work. He mentioned that since his company is a food company so that they do not sell any products online. He said that social influencers are losing their branding according to an article online, but he still thinks that company should work with social influencers closely. He believes that those influencers have a good amount of followers and influence online, this can definitely help the business. Hootsuite is a big thing for social media management. He recommended to use mobile device to create content.

Questions that I asked to this guest:
Do you also have to communicate with foodie influencers on Instagram/YouTube?

The answer: Yes, he believes that social media influencers are still valuable to many restaurants, especially company needs awareness on social media world. 

Do you have to work collaboratively and closely with the Creative department/director?
Yes, he needs to confirm the content before publishing on any social media platforms in case having any negative circumstances. 

What I have learned from this seminar and I can apply it to my later career:
As a social media manager, you should never remove content that are coming from visitors who comment on your brand’s page online. You may cause more serious issues based on that move. When you create artwork for social advertising, you always need to make sure the artwork is compelling. Facebook Ad, Facebook Business Management and Hootsuite are some of the important tools that we should all focus on while managing social media contents online. Calendar is a must item for social media management when you are setting up the schedules of advertising posts.
